Have you wanted to see in detail what some of Honda’s “Genuine Accessories” look like when installed on the 2019 – 2016 Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe? If so, you’re not alone as the term “Pioneer 1000 accessories” is one of the most searched phrases right now that track back to my site thanks to a lot of previous blog posts covering the available aftermarket parts & accessories as well as Honda’s own lineup of goodies.
On this Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe, I tossed on the entire All Weather Package as well as a couple other additions to top it off like a set of 29″ tall Maxxis Vipr 6-ply tires. The standard 27″ Maxxis Big Horn 2.0 tires looked rinky dink on the Pioneer 1000-5 after installing all of these parts. Thanks to the Vipr being a radial tire, it still rides rather well on the Pioneer 1000 when compared to the stock tires but they are a little louder when it comes to road noise.
Keep in mind if you install this setup, it does add a decent chunk of weight up high on the machine which makes it a little more top heavy than a stock machine so you will have some body roll. If you plan on adding a lift kit or anything else in the mix with a similar accessory setup like this then you’ll definitely have your hands full if you like to drive aggressively. If you’re the average person though that doesn’t want to treat this like a sport side by side then you’ll have no problems with the added weight up top.
