– Is this what the possible 2017 CBR 250 / 300 / 350 RR will look like? –
The Honda “Light Weight Super Sports Concept” was officially announced / unveiled last year at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. As you can imagine, this small cc supersport bike has gotten an unreal amount of media coverage. Why? Because there is no other true small cc ‘sport bike’ on the market aside from the KTM RC390.
Yes, the KTM RC390 has ‘competition’ with the Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR300R but they can’t and don’t hold a candle to the performance numbers against the RC390. They weren’t built to compete against the RC as all the Japanese 250 / 300 cc class models are what you would consider ‘budget’ bikes. Could this possible All-New 2017 Honda CBR be able to go toe-to-toe with the 2017 KTM RC390 and absolutely obliterate the 2017 Yamaha R3 / R25, Kawasaki Ninja 250 / 300 and the rumored 2017 GSX-R250? Only time will tell…
Honda has yet to announce the true displacement of the Light Weight Super Sports Concept motorcycle. Most are guessing it’ll be 250 cc machine dubbed as the 2017 CBR250RR. Personally, I’ve got my money on it to be something along the lines of a CBR300RR or CBR350RR etc. When will we know more about this ‘unicorn’ of a sport bike? Keep an eye out on here for 2017 motorcycle spy photos, information leaks and updates on this possible new CBR as we get closer to the 2016 Tokyo Motor Show and or EICMA as that’s when Honda likes to pull out all the stops and show off the latest and great regarding new 2017 / 2018 motorcycle concepts and prototypes etc.
