Honda’s own Honda Racing Corporation has worked over many motorcycles models over the years for just about every racing organization on the planet from CBR supersport racing, motocross, supercross, baja etc as the list goes on and on. Now, three years after the original release of the MSX125 back in 2013 – the Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has attacked the 2017 Grom / 2016 MSX125SF!

Since the HRC product is a race-only, it can not be run on public roads. The specifications, prices are subject to change without prior notice. HRC products are produced for competition, it will not be subjected to the general mass production motorcycle guarantees.
What performance mods did Honda throw at this Grom / MSX 125? Honda uses the word “heavily tuned” when mentioning the few details that they are giving us at the time of original release during the Osaka Motorcycle Show. The single-cylinder 124cc engine gets worked over with two-stage fuel mapping, pit-lane speed limiter, full exhaust from the header back to the muffler and a quick-shifter too! Will Honda sell these HRC performance parts for the Grom / MSX directly like they have in the past with other models? In the past Honda’s own HRC has offered quality, performance-driven goodies.
