Stay tuned as I update this page with detailed reviews on each model with in-depth model breakdowns with R&D and loads of info explaining all of the 2021 ATV model variations and their differences as well as the new changes when comparing the 2021 VS 2020 model years. Honda hasn’t released the 2021 Sport ATV / Quad models just yet so you won’t find them below but I will have more information on those in the coming months.

2021 Honda Recon 250 (TBA?)

Honda has left the Recon 250 models off of the 2021 ATV model lineup list. The TRX250 Recon models have been a staple in the ATV model lineup for decades, it’s hard to see Honda just discontinuing in the model. Could this mean we’re skipping the 2021 production year because they are going to release a new fuel-injected 2022 Recon 250 model lineup? Only time will tell. That’s just wishful thinking though as in 2020, it was the only utility ATV from Honda that wasn’t fuel-injected. In 2020, all Honda ATVs were fuel-injected except for the TRX90X, TRX250X and Recon / Recon ES 250 models.

2021 Honda Rancher 420

2021 Honda Rancher 420 ATV Model Lineup Review / Specs | TRX420 FourTrax 4x4

Honda continues to sell more multipurpose ATVs than any other manufacturer, thanks in large part to the FourTrax Rancher, which has long been a mainstay in the lineup. Whether getting work done on the farm or having fun on the trail, the Rancher is up to the task. Featuring eight different versions, the Rancher family offers the choice between Independent Rear Suspension or a swingarm-style rear end. Versions with Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission or Electric Shifting feature Honda’s reverse-engagement lever, which makes the shift into and out of reverse a hassle-free affair. For storing work or play essentials, the Rancher comes standard with a front utility box that can be reached from the riding position when parked, and they accept accessories from Honda’s Pro Connect system, which makes installing and removing luggage boxes a breeze.

Last year, Honda mixed it up with the Rancher model lineup bringing some model variations back from the dead so-to-say that have been previously discontinued. Example; The Rancher ES 2×4 (TRX420TE1) made a return as did the Rancher 4×4 EPS manual-shift model (TRX420FM2) and thankfully those changes carried through to 2021 as well.

The FourTrax Foreman Rubicon is ready to see any job through, but it’s also known for delivering smiles in the process. Equipped with a 518cc engine offering great torque and low- to mid range power, the Foreman Rubicon manages all this through a combination of class-leading performance, Honda reliability and an Independent Rear Suspension system offering a plush ride and all-day comfort. Versions are available with either a Dual Clutch Transmission or a manual transmission and power steering. On DCT models, an easy-to-use reverse switch simplifies the transition into and out of reverse. DCT models also feature an override that enables manual gear shifting even when in automatic mode, as well as smooth shifting thanks to a finely tuned engine-rpm sensing system. The Rubicon suits owners’ everyday needs, with a handy utility box and racks that are designed to accept Honda Pro-Connect™ accessories. Don’t forget, the Rubicon saw a host of changes last year and of course those upgrades all carry over to the 2021 Rubicon 520 model lineup.
