Horsepower ratings are one of the most searched pieces of information when a new model year releases. The 2016 CRF450R has been getting its fair share of press and reviews lately as Honda recently started releasing them to all the major media outlets.

There are times when Honda will make an adjustment here and there on a dirt bike but not inform us of those upgrades and or changes. That is the case again here on the 16′ 450R in the horsepower department. They announced some changes to suspension, chain roller, etc to improve handling on the 2016 CRF450R but no mentions of HP.

Granted it’s an extremely small bump in horsepower on the 2016 CRF450R compared to the 2015 CRF450R, every single bit counts when the competition is tenths of a second off each others lap times.
