The Honda Pioneer 1000 struggle is real!
Phone goes ring ring…
Me: “Hello, how can I help you?”
Customers: “I’m looking for a Pioneer 1000 / Pioneer 1000-5. Do you have one?”
Me: “Yes sir, you’re in luck! I do have one”
Customer: “Do you have the silver?”
Me: “Nope”
Customer: “Do you have the white?”
Me: “Nope, I’ve got a red though.”
Customer: “No thanks. Do you have the orange?”
Me: “Nope”
Customer: “When do you think you’ll have a steady supply of all colors so I can see them in person like your current ATV inventory?”
Me: “If I’m being honest, it’ll probably be sometime in 2017 before the Pioneer 1000 side by side inventory is readily available like that. It could be longer though as the Pioneer 700 models have been out since August of 2013 and I still haven’t been able to have all colors in stock at one single time. They still sell like hotcakes.”
Customer: “Wow! Well, do you at least have the camo?”
Me: “Nope, I’ve got a red though! Cough cough…”
Customer: “No thanks, goodbye!”
Hahaha I may have over exaggerated a tiny bit but that gives you a gist of my phone calls. People are excited and want to get their hands on the hottest off-road toy Honda has released in decades including all ATVs, side by sides, dirt bikes etc. The only downfall, the horrible flooding in SC has delayed Pioneer 1000 shipments which has backed up some of the other color options.
